- Javier de Francisco Morcillo is associate Professor of Cell Biology at the University of Extremadura in the Faculty of Sciences. However, currently is the General Secretary for Science, Technology and Innovation in the Regional Government of Extremadura since August 2023, where he lead strategic initiatives to promote scientific development in Extremadura.
